About the ibt TOEFL:
The ibt TOEFL- the internet based Test of English as a Foreign Language- measures an individual's understanding of the English Language. The test is accepted by more than 6,000 colleges, universities, and institutions in over 110 countries.
The ibt TOEFL consists of four sections:
Reading
Listening
Speaking
Writing
Each section is graded from 0-30 for a total combined score of between 0-120.
Length: The test is designed to take 4 hours to complete. This includes one 10 minute break near the middle of the exam. Test times for takers will vary by test and by test taker. In general, test takers can expect to take between 3 hours and 40 minutes, and 4 hours and 20 minutes to finish the exam.
